1. Acceptance
By using our website, booking lessons, or engaging with our instructors you accept and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
2. Services
DrivingLesson provides driver training, simulator sessions, progress tracking and related educational services. Specific deliverables, schedules and fees are described in each booking confirmation.
3. Driving Test Bookings
- The instructor may refuse to provide the car for a driving test if they believe the student is not adequately prepared, in order to ensure safety. The fee for the use of the car will be charged on the day of the test which is separate from the DVSA test fee.
4. Cancellation Policy
- We kindly ask for at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your lessons. This allows us to offer your slot to another student. Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged in full.
5. Punctuality
- The instructor will wait for a maximum of 15 minutes. If the student does not arrive, the lesson will be treated as cancelled without notice and charged accordingly.
6. Liability & Safety
We take safety seriously. Instructors are qualified and vehicles are maintained. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DrivingLesson's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees paid for the affected service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is not permitted by law.
7. Refunds
- Refunds for pre-paid lesson blocks are given at the discretion of management and are calculated at the standard single lesson rate for any lessons already taken.
8. Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services you consent to the collection and use of data as described in that policy.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the DrivingLesson site text, graphics, logos and training materials is owned or licensed by DrivingLesson and protected by copyright and other laws. You may use materials only for personal, non-commercial purposes unless expressly permitted.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will publish the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance.
11. Instructor Car Use
The vehicle is covered by insurance for use during lessons and the driving test only. It is not insured for the student’s independent practice outside of scheduled lesson times.
